Are you moving to an apartment in a bigger city? If so, finding parking space can be a real challenge, so start looking at different options well in advance.
Here are our top tips:
Ask how those who lived in the home before you solved parking.
Some tenant-owner's associations and landlords have garages or outdoor parking. However, there are not always enough spaces for everyone, so get in a potential queue as soon as possible.
Apply for a residential parking permit via the municipality. The permit entitles you to park at a lower rate in your residential area.
Don't forget to review other needs you may have as a car owner. Maybe you need access to a charger or storage of winter tires?
