A move cleaning is a thorough cleaning of all rooms in your home, according to the list below. Note that there may be some minor variations between providers. Please get in touch with us if you want provider-specific information.
The move cleaning includes:
All rooms
Vacuum-cleaning and wet-drying:
floors
carpentry
mouldings
doors
door frames
window sills
free surfaces
closet doors
cabinet doors
radiators
Dust-drying:
walls and ceiling
electrical outlets
lamps
on top of and inside closets, cabinets, and bookshelves.
floor rails for sliding doors
exterior doors
Polishing of mirrors.
Window cleaning (special sized windows and windows that require special equipment may incur an extra cost.).
Kitchen
Cleaning:
fridge and freezer (interior and exterior)
stove, oven and micro oven (interior, exterior, plates and grilles)
fan and fan filter (not carbon filter)
cabinets, shelves and drawers (interior, exterior and on top of)
tiles above the sink
underneath cabinets
Dust-drying:
dishwasher (interior and exterior)
cutlery boxes
mouldings
trash bins
Emptying the trash
Polishing of sink, faucets, plug and filter.
Bathroom
Cleaning:
walls and floor
faucets and sink
toilet seat
floor drain (not the water trap)
shower and bathtub
white goods (exterior and detergent container)
Dry-dusting of cabinets (exterior and interior)
Polishing of faucets, visible pipes and shower nozzle.
Degreasing and descaling of walls and joints where possible.
Hallway
Dry-dusting:
handrail, railing and slats in stairs
hat shelf
plug cabinets.
Before the cleaning team arrives, you need to:
Switch off and defrost the fridge and freezer
Pull out the fridge, freezer, stove and washing machine from the wall
Clear all water traps
Clean window blinds (if applicable).
Remove the front of the bathtub for cleaning underneath
Empty the residence from furniture and loose things
Good to know before move cleaning:
We do not clean inside closest, cabinets etc if they are not empty
We do not take responsibility for stains on walls and roof. We only dry dust this due to risk for damage
We do not take responsibility for paint stains, tape or stickers
Electricity and lighting should be available in the residence (the cleaning company will bring equipment and materials for cleaning)
If there is information that some furnitures will be in the residence, we clean around them (we do not move furniture)
We do not disassemble anything
If the residence is heavily soiled additional cost applies. Decontamination is a separate service and is not included in move cleaning.
